Ryan Bingham Omaha Concert reviews
Willie Nelson was disappointing
I felt like the cost of the event was too short for Alison Krauss's good performance. After 10 minutes or so into Ryan Bingham's performance, we got up and left as he was such a disappointment. He just rapidly spoke the words to the songs, as if anyone in the audience who could read could have stood up there and sung. I guess I will not be paying to see a "performance" by Willie again. Perhaps age has taken its toll on his voice, ability to perform, or tolerance to the lights, noise, or throat pain of singing. While we were there, he didn't sing more than a couple of songs, doing a recitation rather than singing.
